Tweak:
http://www.indowebster.com/latest_SVN_builds_july_6_2009rar.html

revision history:
July 10 2009
-Upgraded the tweak with the latest FFDSHOW build
-Newer MPC-Homecinema SVN build
-Made with Windows XP Pro SP3
-Deinterlacing with yadif speed-up considerably

This is a tweak that makes your video files upscaled to match near a High Definiton media (or at least, make your video look better than before. -->Seriously, how do you hope to upscales a youtube video into HD? That's out of question!). It work more efficient in term of resource than some program like NERO SHOWTIME or CYBERLINK POWERDVD with maximum setting (You'll also get a better result with this!)

How to install:
Just double click the reg file, then it will be wroten to the registry location of ffdshow.
Made with K-lite Mega Codec Pack ver.4.xx under Windows Vista Ultimate 32bit.

Doesn't work with Real files, or any media that played outside MPC provided by K-Lite Codec (for shader option)*.
Recent changes work with Real files, but I did it randomly, so for the time being, I'll look into it.

Minimum System Requirement*:
-PC with K-Lite Mega Codec Pack installed
(Must be installed to the default folder and "Lots of Stuff" mode chosen)
-Multi Core CPU with any clock speed
(2.0++ GHz for files already in HD mode)
-a free 512MB system RAM (so you need at least 1GB for total RAM)
(my personal test: spend as much as 50MB for 480P video, 65MB for 720p and 100MB for 1080p)
-Video Card with shader model 1.1/2.0 (S.M. 3.0 or higher reccomended for a optimal result and 256MB RAM for FFDSHOW queque)
(Newer card with latest driver recommended, ATI Radeon HD series and up or Nvidia 8000 series or up for
faster HD decoder/encoder)
*System below requirement may work too, but you'll get a very choppy video. In case of that situation, just apply the default setting, and your ffdshow setting will revert back to default.

The followed setting need to be done for the changes:
Under Media Player Classic Option (Go to View-->Option)
-Set to playback-->Output:
Direct Show Video: VMR9 (renderless)
RM and Quicktime VBideo: DX9
Choose "Use texture surfaces and render video
in 3D"
Resizer: Bicubic (PS 2.0)
Check "VMR9 mixer mode"
-Set to Internal Filters:
Default mode (don't chage anyting, but unchecked those with MPG named after it)
Apply the new setting

note for ver.4.17:
For a slow playback for certain divx/xvid files, turning off deinterlacing in ffdshaow will improve video speed considerably
